SOME RECOMMENDATIONS:

WHERE TO TAKE OFF

  • During the periods of the year when the ski slopes are open you can take off independently from the official take-off located in Cimino.
  • In summer there are multiple take-offs depending on the time of the day, valley breezes and weather winds.
  • Those who need the ski lift pass can ask for the Paragliding pass at the Bormio Ski ticket office.
  • We remind you that flying in Bormio is considered a high mountain flight with all its charm, but also with some critical issues (strong valley breezes 35/40km/h, leeward winds etc.). Can be done safely by novice students, only at certain times of the year, day and time slots.
  • We highly recommend contacting the local pilots at +39 347 0638 914 (Marco) / +39 334 995 0971 (Daniel )

WHERE TO LAND

  • The official landing is equipped with a wind sock.
  • Please, in case of tall grass, do not step on it and in case of off-field landings please fold your glider in the lawn used for landing which can only be reached on foot.

PROHIBITIONS

  • It is also prohibited
    • walking on the ski slopes.
    • Takeoff, overflight and landing within the boundaries of the Stelvio National Park
